Tympus LLC (“Tympus”, “we”) makes the app Fremitus and runs this website, tympus.app. This policy covers Fremitus on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, and this website.
The short version
- There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking in Fremitus.
- Your settings and progress are stored on your own device. They are not sent to us.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- The web version of Fremitus and this website are delivered by Cloudflare, which receives the technical information any web request sends, such as your IP address.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through Fremitus, and we run no servers that receive information about how you use it.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you.
Information stored on your device
To remember your work between sessions, Fremitus saves your settings, saved sessions and presets, quiz progress and language choice in your device’s local app storage. It stays on your device and is never uploaded to us.
You can delete all of it at any time by deleting the app, or, for the web versions, by clearing the site’s data in your browser.
Permissions
Fremitus does not ask for any special permissions, such as access to your microphone, camera, contacts or location.
Services from other companies
We do not share your information with anyone. The one company involved in delivering the web version of Fremitus and this website is listed below; its own privacy policy covers what it receives. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps carry everything they need, including their typefaces, inside the app.

Purchases
Paid features are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment, and we never see your payment details. We receive sales reports that do not identify you. If we ever add a service to manage subscriptions, we will update this policy before it goes live.
Children
Fremitus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to its use. Because Fremitus does not send us your information, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete beyond any emails you have sent. Email us to make a request and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep information
Information on your device stays until you delete it. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you, and deleted sooner if you ask.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and note any significant changes in the app’s update notes.
