Fremitus room acoustics

Published October 6, 2026

Fremitus’s Room Acoustics presets are built on impulse responses measured in real spaces. Two of them come from OpenAIR, the Open Acoustic Impulse Response Library, under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence. As that licence asks, the versions modified for Fremitus are available here under the same licence.

Other rooms

The grand rounds preset uses the lecture room recording from the Aachen Impulse Response Database (RWTH Aachen University) under the MIT licence; its licence notice is shown in the app under About & Credits. The room names and pictures in the app are illustrations, not photographs of these spaces.
